PhD Admissions 2011

Rajarshi M is looking for a PhD student willing to work on any of the following topics:
a) Infrastructure & Poverty
b) Socioeconomic Impact of Infrastructure
c) Infrastructure and FDI
d) Labour Market Discrimination

Required: Sincerity, Competence in English Writing, Ability of Computer-aided Data Analysis, and Working Knowledge of Econometrics (in that order).

Interested persons may contact during office hours with CV and 2-5 page writeup on any of the topics mentioned above. Writeup should have three sections on - (i) why the topic is important, (ii) a brief note on about 5 important works on the area, (iii) what the researcher wants to look at.
